The Ohio Legacy Trust Act became effective on March 27, 2013. This new legislation has created a number of changes in the law which may have a critical impact on your assets. Please join Scott and Louis as they explore aspects of the Act and specifically how Ohio now:
- Allows transfers of assets into a trust to protect them from future creditors while retaining the right to personally benefit from the trust
- Sets up definite statutes of limitations to avoid fraudulent transfers

- Protects 529 Plans
- Protects inherited IRAs
- Allows post-death disclaimers generally without the occurrence of fraudulent transfers
