Michelle Gearity

Attorney

Michelle Gearity focuses her practice on helping clients navigate complex legal and regulatory tax and employee benefits issues related to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business succession planning. Michelle specializes in finding creative solutions for individual and corporate clients that are designed to help them achieve their financial objectives. Her practice includes counseling start-ups, family-owned businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, she provides guidance on issues concerning private equity, employee benefits, and executive compensation. Michelle also represents clients before the IRS and State of Ohio in audit and collection proceedings.

Michelle is married and lives with her husband and two stepchildren in Shaker Heights. She is an avid runner and enjoys playing board games and going to the theater.
