Meyers Roman Announces New Leadership
Anne Meyers, Managing Partner of Meyers, Roman, Friedberg & Lewis (MRFL), is pleased to announce the firm has completed its executive leadership transition. Meyers founded Meyers, Roman, Friedberg & Lewis in 1995, and as Managing Partner, stewarded the firm through the growth of the practice from 4 attorneys at inception to 21 attorneys and over 40 employees.
“I am proud to pass on the leadership of the firm to the capable hands of my partners Peter Turner, Managing Partner, and fellow Management Committee members Scott Lewis and Peter Brosse. The firm is poised to build on its historical successes under this new management structure, and I am privileged to continue to be an active part of the Meyers Roman team of dedicated attorneys,” said Meyers. “I am excited about spending less time on administration and more on the practice of law,” she said. Meyers will continue as an active full time attorney with the Firm, continuing to provide expert advice to clients in the areas of construction and surety law, general business law, succession planning, and litigation, among other areas.
Turner, who joined the firm in 2006 and will continue as head of its Litigation Practice Group, is recognized by his colleagues and peers in the legal community for his strong commitment to client service and his passion for excellence. “Our dedication to client service is unwavering. We thank Anne for carefully laying a strong foundation for our growth and success and look forward to her continued contributions and insights. We hope to enhance our capabilities while striving to adhere to the pragmatic, results-oriented philosophy for which Meyers Roman is recognized.” Turner was voted by his peers as one of Northeast Ohio’s Super Lawyers in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. He serves on the Judicial Qualifications Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Asssociation (CMBA) which has spearheaded the reform movement in the selection of suitable candidates for judicial office.
